Granite fragments

Large granite fragments (if such large objects can be called fragments) lying near the Royal Exhibition Building, Melbourne. I love the curves, symmetry and patterns in these.

Typography on old Bank of NSW buildings in Kyneton, Victoria

On my 50th birthday weekend my husband and I went to Daylesford and surrounding districts. He’s used to me taking snapshots of typography in public places 😉

Here’s a treat for your Banksia Friday. Handmade red gum & jarrah frame with blackwood, quilted myrtle and silver ash inlay by John Tilbrook. With a little hand drawn banksia by yours truly. Purchased this frame from @meeniyanartgallery but can’t find much online about John Tilbrook unless it’s @timberings42 ??
Just listed! Banksia Baxteri on a Bed of Lilac. Link in profile.
Next couple of weeks are going to be derailed by moving house so here is my cat buddy, MJ to say hello!
Still very much a wip but starting to find bits I’m reasonably happy with.
@bluethumbart
Lemony yellow goodness from banksia baxteri on this banksia Friday. Have a good weekend everyone.
